Another week, another Sunday with nothing interesting, and another gay shoutout! This one was suggested by somebody very dear to me, and it’s a webcomic series by the name of Heartstopper, by Alice Oseman. If you want some really good queer storytelling about two men in a relationship, with depth, nuance, and moments that will hit you hard, you can’t do much better than this one. There’s also the larger series by Oseman here, but you can look for that for yourself once you’ve caught up and fallen in love with the series like I have. I don’t understand how she can write such beautiful romance stories while being herself ace/aro, she just truly understands people and how to effectively write them. Just great stuff. Also this is as good a time as any since the NETFLIX ADAPTATION RELEASES THIS SPRING!
